Ida Code of Conduct

We want the Ida Network meet-up to feel welcoming and inclusive to everyone attending so we ask all attendees to follow these guidelines:

Behave respectfully towards other attendees

We encourage all event attendees to exercise ‬consideration ‬and ‬respect ‬in their ‬speech ‬and ‬actions. Be ‬mindful ‬of ‬your ‬surroundings ‬and ‬of ‬your ‬fellow ‬participants. ‬

We do not tolerate unacceptable behaviour towards other members, guests, sponsors or event staff in any form, including ‬intimidating, ‬harassing, ‬abusive, ‬discriminatory, ‬derogatory ‬or ‬demeaning ‬speech ‬or actions ‬by ‬any ‬participant. 

Harassment ‬includes: ‬harmful ‬or ‬prejudicial ‬verbal ‬or ‬written ‬comments ‬related ‬to ‬gender, ‬sexual ‬orientation, age, ‬ability, ‬appearance, ethnicity, national origin, ‬citizenship, socioeconomic ‬status, ‬or ‬religion; ‬deliberate ‬intimidation, ‬stalking ‬or ‬following; ‬harassing ‬photography ‬or ‬recording; ‬sustained ‬disruption ‬of ‬talks ‬or ‬other ‬events; ‬inappropriate ‬physical ‬contact; ‬and ‬unwelcome ‬sexual ‬attention.

Photography & Filming

Photography and filming will be taking place at the event and may be shared on social media and/ or used to market future events. If you do not want to be included in any photographs or in the film please contact Leah@idaxrstudio.com.

If you are made to feel uncomfortable or you experience unacceptable behaviour at an event or in our online community, please contact Leah@idaxrstudio.com or Victoria@idaxrstudio.com

We reserve the right to take action to stop any unacceptable behaviour which may include expulsion from the event.  You may also be denied entry to future events.
